Winner!

Hello! I haven't been able to post for a while- i've been super busy and stressed! I've almost finished my five illustrations for a super exciting project I will tell you about soon!

I'm participating in two calenders this year- one is for fundraising at uni. We're raising money so we can go to the big D&AD exhibition next year! The second is an online project I am taking part in, and can't wait to share the final thing! I have to use print making as a technique, so i'm using screen printing for the first time! I can't wait :)

I've just finished another piece for Amelia's Magazine that I will share once it's up! I'm going to be doing some editorial stuff as part of uni which i'm excited about.

Oooh and I reached my 50 followers!! Here is how I drew the winner and runner up.. :)

I like using traditional methods ;) Karina was my winner and Danielle my runner up! Danielle has hers, but Karina is in Russia, but it's on it's way! Exciting stuff!

I'm doing another illustration swap and can't wait! I have another exciting group project on the way too.. stay tuned! :)

Oh and A few months back I entered my work to Hello You Creatives. The paper has been sent to industry people which is exciting! I found this image of the paper thanks to the lovely Fritha Strickland. She posted about finding pictures of her work in the paper, so i had a look and found mine! A online version is coming soon I believe! :)

Something a little different!

Hello! Today I want to share something new i've been working on! My mum, a primary school teacher, wanted some designs illustrating. They're to help the children learn about different letter types and to hopefully remember them easily!!

This first one is curly caterpillar (for a, o, c etc!)
I hope you like him! :)

Food Illustration!

Here is my first proper food illustration! It was for an article on Amelia's experience on the Dana Sirena cruise ferry, on her recent visit to Denmark! Read all about her journey and the wonderful visit here!

I know whenever I have travelled by ferry the food has been great, but this Danish food (especially the pudding) looked amazing!!

Looks delish' doesn't it?!

Giveaway!!

Hello!

I've been so so happy with the amount of followers i'm getting on here and twitter! It's amazing thinking that all these people like my work!
So I've decided to do a giveaway when I reach 400 followers on twitter! I'll put the names into a hat (or maybe something more technical!) and the winner will get a print of their choice and a couple of little lovely extras!

I want to give my lovely blog followers an extra chance to win something too (because 400 is a lot!)!! So, when I reach the exciting 50 followers on here (not too far!) I will pick a winner! Just follow and leave a comment saying which of my pieces of work is your favourite and if you win it's yours!! There will be a runner up too! (Leave your name and email too!)

Lovely Illustration Swap!

So, in August I signed up for Natasha's Illustration Swap, and it was great! I was paired with Rachel Price. So I just wanted to share what she sent me!! :)

Some lovely illos, paper and little beautiful pieces! There were some incense sticks too, so it smelt amazing!!
Oh and Natasha has another illustration swap coming up!! So sign up here now! :)

Business Cards!

I decided to get some business cards made at moo! I've seen other illustrator's and they're so effective! I know I would certainly pick up bright, colourful and exciting cards when at events etc, so wanted to get a few made to see how my work would look! (I also plan to send some to be given out at events!)

I'm so happy with how theylook! They're super thick and great quality too! :)
