New Cat Illustration - Ozzy

I just wanted to pop in and share this latest illustration with you! I illustrated this gorgeous little guy for a Secret Santa present. The recipient loved it and I was so happy to be able to give her something a little bit special.

I'm working on a couple of Christmas commissions at the moment and will share them when I can. If I don't post beforehand, have a wonderful Christmas!!

Etsy - Abby's Illustrations

Hello everybody! Sorry I've been a little quiet for a while, I'm busy working on new projects which I should be able to share with you soon (I get very impatient waiting for illustrations to go live!)

I just wanted to let you know that I've reopened my Etsy shop, stocked with a number of custom portrait and pet portrait commission options. Perfect birthday, Father's Day, everyday or (for the extremely well prepared) Christmas presents! If you are interested and have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

New Work in Progress...

Just a quick post to show you what I'm working on! I wanted to do some floral type illustration work, but not too 'pretty' (I hope you understand this, I know what I mean hehe). I wanted to incorporate colour, texture and line work that created a more striking kind of image. It's early days but I'm happy with how it's progressing. (It's a fiddly piece with lots of detail..)

The line work I placed down first proved quite tricky and I was a little worried it would look too busy. I'm glad I persevered though, it's taking shape quite nicely, better than I had hoped for!

I am also happy to announce that I am a sponsor of the wonderful Tigerlilly Quinn blog! The blog, ran by the lovely (fellow Tea & Crayon member) Fritha, is full of such beautiful content and I'm proud to be associated! :) (see my sponsor button below!)

Promo Flyers!

 So my promotional flyers and business cards arrived today! I always find opening the box such an excitable and scary moment... What if I made a spelling mistake? What if they're too dark? (If I was doing my English GCSE's I'd be getting a few marks for rhetorical questions right there.. )

Well thankfully there are no issues! None at all. I'm really happy with how they have come out. They feel beautiful and look just as I imagined they would :)

Such a giant and beautiful pile of postcard sized flyers! Now it's time to send them around and put them in arty/independent shops for customers to take (that's part of the plan anyway...) If you can think of any suitably brilliant places, please do let me know!
